Ron has spent much of the past three decades not only as a lover of all creatures, domesticated and wild, rescuing many animals along the way, who needed help, but also training and working with the animals of friends and family.
Ron's training methods, were like most at the start, so long ago, following along with contemporary training, although still refusing to use the contemporary tools available, like shock collars and other aversive teaching methods. In the past few years however, and as student of the CATCH Canine Trainer's Academy Master Program, he has switched 100% to Positive Reinforcement Training.
While not only training, his past with dogs, along with studying the science of their minds and how they think, combined with a patient hand had led him to a passion in working with dogs with social problems such as fear and anxiety, as well as working with an array of other behavior issues that can occur when dogs have not had a great start in life.
I contacted Ron to help my little Jack Russell Lilly with aggressiveness towards other dogs and cats,and well we got just what we paid for and more. She is not totally transformed but let me tell ya what a change he made in her. If your dog need some help he is your man. Ron is very trustworthy and dependable, I work third shift and he would come get Lilly and bring her back being very respectful of my day sleeping.
In the end I think Lilly likes him more than me.

What a treasure Ron is! As my dog is trained in manners and respectfulness, it's always a challenge to find a dog sitter who actually understands dogs and training methods. Ron not only is great with animals of all kinds, but is a solid trainer as well. Ron has keen awareness of dynamics between animals too and know how to introduce and integrate them together. He also is very tuned into the personality and stage that all the animals are in so that they all can work at their own pace. It's like magic! I can't say enough good things about Ron. It's such peace of mind to know I can go on business trips and know that my dog is in good hands and I won't come home to a stressed dog that's picked up bad habits! Thank you Ron!
I cannot recommend Ron and Dog Days Pet Services enough. In addition to being an animal lover, Ron has a unique bond with every dog he meets. He is currently helping my boxer mix, Scarlett, with her anxiety towards unknown people. In just a few short sessions I've seen progress so beyond what I ever expected for my girl. Ron knows what he is doing and I know that he has both of my dogs' welfare in mind with every interaction he has with them.

Shadow had major food aggression!!! And aggression with guarding certain items! We were unable to touch his paws or brush him!!
Ron had worked with him for 4 weeks now!! And the change in him are unbelievable!!! Ron has showed us so many new things and taught us so much about how to deal with Shadow he is a different dog!! I’m so glad we found Ron!!!
